“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging, and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light” – Brene Brown
About Me
Thank you for visiting my page. I am a registered Counselling Psychologist based in Bellville, Cape Town, offering both in-person and online psychotherapy to teenagers, adults, couples, and families in isiXhosa and English.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, as I believe every person is unique and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all method. I invest time in getting to know you and building a collaborative relationship to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and context. Drawing from a range of modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive- behavioural, humanistic, systems and postmodern approaches.
With experience in diverse settings such as hospitals, non-governmental organizations and universities, I have worked with individuals, couples and families from various backgrounds, helping them navigate life’s difficulties.
Therapy is a journey we walk together. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your thoughts and feelings freely. I listen with empathy, responding with care and sensitivity. I genuinely care about my clients’ well-being and believe in their ability to construct solutions that enhance their lives.
I’m here to walk with you on your path to healing with warmth, unconditional positive regard, and even a bit of humour. I aim to help you heal, grow, and reach your full potential.

Consultation Fees
I accept both cash payments and medical aid. With your written consent, I can submit claims directly to your medical aid at the approved rate. However, it is your responsibility to confirm your benefits with your medical aid before the consultation. If a claim is unsuccessful or there are co-payments, you will need to settle the outstanding amount. For cash payments, my rates are closely aligned with medical aid tariffs, and payment is required after each session.
